Convert JPG to PNG, free

Add one or more JPG pictures and tap Convert to PNG. Several pictures are saved together in one ZIP file, and nothing is uploaded.

    Good to know
    • The PNG file is usually larger than the JPG.
    • Converting does not make a blurry picture sharper.
    • iPhone HEIC photos are not supported yet.

    How to use it

    1. Tap Add JPG pictures and choose them.
    2. Keep PNG selected.
    3. Tap Convert to PNG.
    4. Open the saved picture or ZIP file.

    Save a JPG as a PNG

    PNG is a lossless format, which is useful when you will edit a picture again, or need sharp text and logos without new compression marks.

    Converting a JPG to PNG does not bring back detail that JPG already removed, and the file will usually be larger.

    PNG stores every pixel without lossy compression, so the file is larger.

    Will the picture look better as PNG?

    No. It looks the same, but it will not get further compression damage when you edit and save again.
